SQORE – unFILTERED[joy]: Ambient Layers and Piano Reflections – Frequency State

Opening with airy lo-fi tones, unFILTERED[joy] gradually unfolds through interwoven arpeggios, vinyl-like crackles, and piano textures that circle and evolve. The piece remains understated while still carrying gentle momentum, as its layers shift and blend into one another. Closing with an intimate piano passage, it leaves a reflective, calm mood.

The track comes from SQORE’s new EP reGENERATION, released on the collective label Ambient Pasta. The record explores themes of human connection, inner delight, and the subtle beauty found in everyday experiences.

SQORE is the project of New York–based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and sound artist Em Sgouros. Their work combines field recordings with synthesizers to create immersive soundscapes, often blurring the line between the real and the imagined. With a background in classical percussion and jazz vibraphone, they have performed at SXSW, Winter JazzFest, and Riot Fest, as well as producing for theater, film, and other collaborative projects.
