accntnt – bedhaus: Lo-Fi Grooves and Ambient Textures – Frequency State

bedhaus unfolds with a lo-fi groove that steadily evolves, layering rhythmic undertones and subtle melodic lines. The track balances a sense of forward motion with ambient haze, creating an atmosphere that feels dreamlike yet grounded in texture.
Toronto-based artist accntnt (Kyle Gottschalk) uses the project as an outlet for electronic-leaning bedroom experiments. Blending influences from dream pop, shoegaze, techno, and psych, his sound references artists like Madlib, Panda Bear, Cocteau Twins, Nicolas Jaar, and Carl Craig. bedhaus gives a first taste of this approach ahead of the debut self-titled EP, due in August 2025.
